Our FRP pipeline elbow is a high-performance fiberglass-reinforced plastic fitting designed to change the direction of flow in industrial piping systems with minimal pressure loss. Manufactured by filament winding or hand lay-up processes, each elbow combines a thermosetting resin matrix (e.g., vinyl ester, epoxy, or polyester) with continuous glass fiber reinforcement. This results in a fitting that is exceptionally resistant to corrosion from acids, alkalis, salts, and organic solvents—unlike carbon steel or cast iron elbows that require frequent anti-corrosion coating. The smooth inner surface reduces friction and prevents scale build-up, while the lightweight structure (up to 80% lighter than stainless steel) simplifies transportation and installation. Available in standard 45° and 90° configurations, or custom angles and diameters (from DN25 to DN3000), with pressure ratings up to 2.5 MPa and temperature resistance up to 120°C depending on resin selection.
